Registered as EMA India Construction Heating Company Pvt Ltd in May'71, EMA India (EIL) became a public limited company in 1976 and acquired the present name. It started commercial production in 1973-74. Company is lead by P K Bhargava,as Chairman & Managing Director. EIL continues to sucessfully manufacture and supply Induction Heating Equipments based on IGBT transistorised converters, which are very compact and require less components and works. Company has standardised and modularised on only 2 Model of Honing Machines which will cater to almost entire range of Auto components which require Honing, thus reducing costs as well as delivery times. Currently, EIL manufactures medium and high frequency induction heating equipment in technical-cum-financial collaboration with EMA, Germany. The products of EIL fall under the category of heat treatment furnaces under the broad-based categorisation of machine tools by the Central Government. Its clientele include TELCO, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, BEML, Bajaj Tempo, Escorts, MICO, L&T and Mahindra & Mahindra, among others.
