Nahar Capital and Financial Services Limited is an India-based non banking finance company. The Companys business is investment in shares, debentures, stock, bonds and securities of any kind issued by companies, banks, mutual funds, any authority, central, state, municipal, local and to invest subscribe, purchase, acquire and/or sell or otherwise place funds by way of deposit to any body corporate, firm, person, any other authority or association. The Company is engaged in investment activities. Its investment activities comprise of investment portfolio consisting of securities held as capital assets and trading portfolio consisting of securities held as stock in trade. The Company may also undertake new activities, such as financial consultancy, merchant banking, underwriting business, stock broking, and other miscellaneous finance activities. Nahar Capital and Financial Services Limited was incorporated on 31st March, 2006 as Public Limited Company under Companies Act, 1956 with the object of carrying on Investment Business, which was hived off from NAHAR SPINNING MILLS LIMITED pursuant to the Scheme of Demerger and Arrangement duly approved by Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh as per Order dated 21st December, 2006. The Company registered with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) vide its Registration No. N-06.
