They also produce sponge iron. Their mines are located around Barbil in Keonjhar district of Orissa. The company is a subsidiary of Eastern Investments Ltd. Apart from mining and marketing of iron ore, the company is engaged in the field of mining and marketing of manganese ore. The company has six mining leases in the Keonjhar district of Orissa. The company has a joint venture in the name and style of East India Minerals Ltd (EIML) with stake of 26%.
