Prakash Woollen & Synthetic Mill Limited was incorporated in India in the year August 23rd, 1979 as a leading Indian Textile Company. The Company has its wide network of operations in domestic market. It sells its product through multiple channels including wholesale, retail and through agents etc. During the year 2013-14, the Company issued 36,69,950 equity shares and 15,00,000 warrants on preferential basis, as approved in last annual general meeting. The company issued these Equity Shares and Warrants on 26th August 2013. During the year 2013-14, the company converted 15,00,000 Warrants into same number of Equity Shares on October 11th, 2013. The company re-issued 9,13,900 Equity Shares which were earlier forfeited, as approved in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 11th December, 2013. In FY2014-15, the Company altered its Object Clause in Memorandum of Association.
