About Somani Swiss Industries Ltd

Incorporated in 1974, Somani Swiss Industries started with the manufacture of 9975 tpa of speciality PFY/POY yarn. Co-promoted by Ashish Somani and the foreign collaborator, EMS Inventa, the Rs 137-cr plant is located at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The promoters were manufacturing CTD bars at their Assam plant with a capacity of 34,800 tpa. They also have the dealership for Maruti cars in the Ranchi / Bihar area. In 1996-97, the project to manufacture Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) was changed to Polyester Polymer Bottlegrade Chips but it was put on hold due to the depression in the South East Asian economies.
