About Supershakti Metaliks Ltd

Supershakti Metaliks Limited was incorporated as a private limited company with the name 'Quentz Dealtrade Private Limited' on December 12, 2012. The name of the Company was changed to 'Supershakti Metaliks Private Limited' on November 12, 2014. Subsequently, pursuant to resolution of shareholders on April 06, 2018, the Company was converted to a public limited company and the name of the Company was further changed to 'Supershakti Metaliks Limited' on May 03, 2018. The Company forms part of Sai Group' which has carved itself into a well known group and established it's goodwill in iron and steel manufacturing industry. In 2013, the company was a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Group Company, Super Smelters Limited, also a Company under the Flagship of Sai Group'. Super Smelters Limited was operating through three units situated in Durgapur (Unit I), Koderma (Unit II) and Jamuria (Unit III). Its management decided to demerge three units as each unit has tremendous potential for growth and profitability and re-organization and segregation of business would provide focused management attention and required leadership for exploiting better opportunities. As a result, Unit I was vested with the company, Unit II was vested in Sai Electrocasting Private Limited and Unit III was retained in Super Smelters Limited pursuant to Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Hon'ble High Court Order at Kolkata dated June 14, 2016.
