Incorporated in 1942 at Wadala, Mumbai, Supreme Industries (SIL) was promoted by the family of Kantilal K Mody. In 1996, the Taparia family took control of the company through outright purchase of shares. SIL has been consistently increasing its capacities in the plastics processing industry. Today it has one of the largest plastic processors in the country, with a product range catering to both, the industrial and consumer segment. Over the years, it has gone into almost all segments of plastic products and put up plants at various locations in the country. The company's plastic piping system division manufactures uPVC Pipes, Injection Moulded fittings, Handmade fittings, Polypropylene Random, Co-polymer Pipes & Fittings, HDPE Pipe Systems, CPVC Pipes Systems, Inspection Chambers, Water Tanks, Septic Tanks, Toilets, DWC HDPE PIPE System, Bath Fittings and Solvents. The consumer products division manufactures furniture. The industrial products division manufactures industrial components and material handling products (Crates, Pallets, Bins & Dustbins).
