Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Private Limited is India's largest chain of health centres. It has 50,000 members and 33 ultramodern branches across major cities in the country. The company fitness centres are in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Cochin, Vijayawada, Secunderabad, Jaipur, Indore, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Vizag. The company was originally incorporated on April 24, 2003 as Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Pvt Ltd. In June 30, 2003, the company acquired and took over the entire business as a going concern of Talwalkars Health Unlimited, a partnership firm of the promoters. In September 2003, the company made an agreement for purchase of business of Talwalkar Omnifitness Private Limited situated at Ulsoor, Bangalore. In June 15, 2005, the company executed a franchisee agreement with Pinnacle Fitness Private Limited for 2 gymnasiums located at NCR. In August 2005, it also executed franchisee agreements with Kandarkar & Shinde Associates and Equinox Wellness Private Limited for gymnasiums located at Navi Mumbai and Kolkata respectively.
