TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme 2026: Eligibility, Date, How to Apply & Status

The TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme is one of the promises announced by the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in its 2026 election manifesto. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹4,000 per month is provided to unemployed graduates and ₹2,500 per month to unemployed diploma, class 12 and ITI holders. 

As of now, the TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme has not yet been launched and is not an active Tamil Nadu (TN) government scheme. There is no official registration portal, and the application process has not yet been released.

What is the TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme?

The TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme is a youth welfare scheme proposed by the current Tamil Nadu government. Under this scheme, a monthly unemployment support is provided to graduates, diploma holders, class 12 holders, and ITI holders in Tamil Nadu who are registered with the TN Employment Exchange. 

This scheme provides temporary financial relief to unemployed young job seekers in Tamil Nadu and helps them manage their living expenses while seeking employment or skill development opportunities. 

TVK ₹4,000 Scheme Eligibility Criteria 

The current TN government is yet to announce the TVK Youth Unemployment Allowance eligibility criteria. However, the expected eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Must be permanent residents in Tamil Nadu.
  • Must be unemployed graduates, diploma, class 12 or ITI holders.
  • Should be registered with the TN Employment Exchange Live Register.
  • Should be aged 18-35 years.

How to Apply for TVK ₹4,000 Scheme? 

The official portal for the TVK Youth Scheme online application has not yet been launched. Based on the other TN government schemes, the expected online application process may be as follows:

Step 1: Register with the Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange

Step 2: Ensure registration is on ‘Live Register’. 

Step 3: Visit the official portal of the TVK Youth Scheme (yet to be launched by the government).

Step 4: Create an account using Aadhaar and mobile OTP.

Step 5: Fill out the application form with personal, education and employment status details.

Step 6: Upload the required documents.

Step 7: Submit the form and save the acknowledgement number.

Step 8: The District Employment Office will verify and approve. Upon approval, the monthly DBT will be credited to the linked bank account.

Applications may also be collected, filled out and submitted at the District Employment Office along with the required documents.

TVK ₹4,000 Scheme Launch Date 

As of now, the launch date of the TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme has not yet been announced. The Tamil Nadu government is yet to release the Government Order (GO), notification, or implementation schedule for this scheme. 

TVK ₹4,000 Scheme - Current Status 

The TVK ₹4,000 Scheme is currently only a 2026 election manifesto promise of the TVK government and not an active Tamil Nadu government welfare scheme. There is no official registration portal, eligibility notification or application process yet.

How to Register with Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange?

Step 1: Visit the Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange portal

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’, select ‘Job Aspirants’ and click the ‘Government/ Public Sector’ option.

Step 3: On the next tab, click on the ‘New User - Click Here’ option.

Step 4: Agree to the terms and conditions by clicking on ‘I agree’.

Step 5: Fill out the required information on the candidate registration form and click ‘Save’ and ‘Register’. 

Step 6: A message will be displayed indicating the successful creation of the candidate’s User ID. Click the ‘Ok’ button.

Step 7: On the next screen, click on ‘Click Here to Proceed’ under the ‘Candidate Profile is Incomplete’ section.

Step 8: Enter your personal details, contact details and qualification details, and click on the ‘Save Preview & Next’ button after each section.

Step 9: Enter your skill details and click on the ‘View Preview & Submit’ button.

Step 10: Preview the details and click on ‘Continue’.

Step 11: A message will be displayed with the ‘Exchange Registration’ number. Click on the ‘Print’ button to get the ‘Employment Registration Identity Card’.

The TVK ₹4,000 Youth Scheme 2026 is a youth welfare initiative providing monthly financial assistance to unemployed youth in Tamil Nadu. Under this scheme, unemployed graduates are promised ₹4,000 per month and class 12, diploma, and ITI holders are promised ₹2,500 per month as unemployment allowance. 

However, as of now, the TVK ₹4,000 Scheme is not an active TN government scheme and remains an election promise awaiting official implementation.
