The NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme is Andhra Pradesh's social security pension scheme for senior citizens, widows, disabled persons, and other eligible groups.
The scheme is Launched in June 2024 as the renamed version of YSR Pension Kanuka, the scheme provides monthly pensions from ₹4,000 to ₹15,000 through Village and Ward Secretariats across Andhra Pradesh.

NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme applications can be submitted through Village or Ward Secretariats and through the official NTR Bharosa pension scheme portal. Aadhaar-based verification is mandatory for approval.
Step 1: Collect the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme application form from the nearest Village Secretariat or Ward Sachivalayam.
Step 2: Fill in the applicant details and select the relevant pension category.
Step 3: Submit the required documents along with the application form.
Step 4: Complete Aadhaar biometric verification at the secretariat for local authority verification.
Step 6: After approval, the pension amount is credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank account from the following month.
NTR Bharosa pension status can be checked online through the official Pensions portal, the mobile app, or the district-wise beneficiary dashboard.
Step 1: Click on 'Search Pension Status' from the menu section of NTR Bharosa Pension portal.
Step 2: Search using Pension ID, Ration Card Number, or SADAREM ID.
Step 3: Select the district, mandal, panchayat, and habitation details.
Step 4: View the current status (accepted, pending, or rejected) along with the full payment history.

NTR Bharosa pension payments are released every month through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system across Andhra Pradesh.
The NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme replaced the earlier YSR Pension Kanuka scheme in Andhra Pradesh in June 2024. Along with the name change, pension amounts were increased and additional beneficiary categories were introduced under the revised scheme.
