Introduction
The Indian Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (ICFAI) is a not-for-profit organisation registered under the Public Societies Registration Act of Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area), 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350 F). The institute was established in the year 1984 to provide high-quality, world-class education.
ICFAI has an exemplary track record in the higher education sector for around three decades. It launched the Financial Analysts certification programme, the CFA Programme in 1985 and was instrumental in the development of a new generation of Indian professionals.
ICFAI established the ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) throughout India in the year 1995 at eight locations to offer high-quality two-year post-graduate management programmes with different specialisations. In the independent research conducted by several magazines, IBS Hyderabad is ranked among the top ten B-Schools in India over the years.
In line with its vision of fostering high-quality higher education growth and enhancing access, ICFAI has funded 11 private universities in different states contributing to the pan-Indian presence of ICFAI Universities, promoting equity and encouraging excellence. ICFAI Group is one of India's largest private-university groups.
Every year ICFAI University publishes more than 300 case studies in the professional quarterly research journals in various areas of management, accounting, science & technology, law, economics, and liberal arts.

Mission
ICFAI's primary purpose is to create a framework of professionals who have been given specialised skills, who have learned to consider issues from a broad perspective, and who have acquired a greater sense of moral and social responsibility that their future leadership positions demand from them. In short, "Learning for leadership" is the mission.
