How to Add Custom Fields to a Sale Invoice

Other than the fields available on sale invoices and bill of supply, in case you wish to add few custom fields such as Lorry Number, the name of transporter etc, to your invoices, set those custom fields following the below mentioned steps:

  • Login to our website, Cleartax GST
  • Once you are logged in, you can click on the ‘dashboard’
  • From the top panel, go to ‘More’ and click on ‘Settings’

  • Click on Invoice Settings and select ‘Custome Fields’

  • Select the appropriate GSTIN
  • Select the type of invoice

  • Now add the description to the custom fields

  • Click on save
