The PhonePe transaction limit per day is ₹1,00,000 for every UPI user. This limit applies to a 24-hour timeline and allows a maximum of 20 transactions.  If you reach the limit, you must wait 24 hours from the last transaction to make a new transfer. On the other hand, you can request a maximum amount of ₹2,000 from the PhonePe application.

How to Change PhonePe Limit per Day?

PhonePe does not handle or give options to change or increase the PhonePe transaction limit. National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) sets the rules for UPI transfer limits, and your bank decides how much you can transfer in a single day.

Here are the options to increase the transaction limit:

Contact Your Bank

If you want to change this limit, you can contact your bank’s customer care/change it on your own using their net banking portal or mobile banking applications. Otherwise, you can visit your home branch to update the limit. Depending on your account type and risk profile, they will change it.

Complete the KYC Process 

To increase the PhonePe app’s daily limit, you have to complete the full KYC process. If your account has a minimum KYC completed, you can transfer a maximum of ₹10,000. A full KYC of your account will increase the limit to ₹1,00,000. To do so, you must provide documents such as a PAN card, Aadhar card, address proof, etc. However, remember that you cannot increase the limit above the mark set by NPCI.

PhonePe Transaction Limit for Business

If you have a PhonePe business account, there is no limit for accepting payments, especially if you have a verified account. Instead of receiving payments directly one by one in your account, you receive a total collection amount as a single transaction.

Suppose you have any business or shop with required documents such as PAN number, GST number or any relevant document as proof of your business. This helps you to accept too many transactions in your account without such restrictions.

PhonePe Money Transfer Limit for Wallet

The limit for wallet transfer in PhonePe means how much you can send from your PhonePe wallet. The amount depends on multiple factors. With a minimum KYC, you can make a limited transaction of ₹10,000 with your PhonePe wallet. With documentation and personal details, you have to complete your full KYC. Then, you can get up to ₹2,00,000 limit per transaction and ₹4,00,000 in a single day. 

You can set a custom transaction limit from the “Set Limit” option in the PhonePe application. However, the amount cannot exceed the limit set by the RBI.
