How to Add your Bank Account to your PhonePe?

Here is a step-by-step guide to add a bank account in PhonePe:

Step 1: Open the PhonePe app and click on the profile icon present on the top left corner of this app’s home screen. 

Step 2: Under the ‘Payment Methods’, click on ‘Bank Accounts’.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Add Bank Account’ button available at the bottom.

Step 4: Choose your bank from the available options.

Step 5: Once done, PhonePe will fetch your bank details and get linked to it. 

Step 6: Tap the ‘UPI PIN’ button and set a unique PIN for transactions.

Step 7: Enter the last six digits of your ATM or Debit card.

Step 8: Next, input the OTP received on your registered mobile number to set the UPI PIN.

Once done, your bank account linking process is successfully completed. 

How to Add Another Bank Account in PhonePe?

You can follow the steps below to add multiple accounts to your PhonePe app:

Step 1: Open your PhonePe app and log in to this app using your PIN.

Step 2: Tap your profile icon present on the top left corner of this app’s home screen.

Step 3: Under the ‘Payment Methods’, click on ‘Bank Accounts’.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Add New Bank Account’ button available at the bottom.

Step 5: Choose your bank from the available options linked to your mobile number.

Step 6: Once done, PhonePe will fetch your bank details. Click the ‘Proceed to Add’ button to link to another account.

Step 7: Tap the ‘Set UPI PIN’ button and set a unique transaction PIN.

Step 8: Enter the last six digits of your ATM or Debit card.

Step 9: Next, input the OTP received on your registered mobile number to set the UPI PIN.

How to Add Bank Account in PhonePe Without a Phone Number?

PhonePe does not allow users to add a bank account without a phone number. Thus, only those bank accounts can be added to PhonePe, which is linked to a phone number.

How to Add Bank Account in PhonePe Without a Debit Card?

If you do not want to provide your debit card number to link your bank account with the PhonePe app, you can use your Aadhaar card number instead. Follow the steps below to add your bank account using Aadhaar number:

Step 1: Open your PhonePe app and log in to this app using your PIN.

Step 2: Tap your profile icon present on the top left corner of this app’s home screen.

Step 3: Under the ‘Payment Methods’, click on ‘Bank Accounts’.

Step 4: Choose the ‘Add Bank Account’ option to choose the bank account.

Step 5: Enter the OTP that you receive on your registered mobile number.

Step 6: Next, proceed to set up a UPI PIN and choose the Aadhaar option.

Step 7: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

How to Re-Add a Bank Account in PhonePe?

To re-add your bank account to PhonePe, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to your PhonePe app and tap your profile icon on the home screen.

Step 2: Under the ‘Payment Methods’, click on ‘Bank Accounts’ and select ‘Add New Bank Account’.

Step 3: Finally, choose the bank from the available options and enter the required details.
