Follow these steps to register on the NVSP and get access to various online Voter related services:
Step 1: Visit the National Voters' Services Portal (NVSP).
Step 2: Click on the ‘Sign-Up’ option available on the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your mobile number, email ID and captcha code and click ‘Continue’.
Step 4: Enter your ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’, ‘Password’, ‘Confirm Password’, and click the ‘Request OTP’ button.
Step 5: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and email ID and click ‘Verify’.
Once your OTP is verified, you will be registered on NVSP. You can directly log into NVSP from the next time and access the voter ID-related services.
Here is the step-by-step guide to login to NVSP:
Step 1: Visit the National Voters' Services Portal (NSVP)
Step 2: Click on the ‘Login’ option available on the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your mobile number, password, and captcha and click on the ‘Request OTP’ button.
Step 4: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and click the ‘Verify & Login’ button.
Follow these steps to apply for a new Voter ID:
Step 1: Indian residents must click on the ‘Fill Form 6’ option under the ‘New Voter Registration’ section. NRI must click ‘Fill Form 6A’ under the ‘New Voter Registration (NRI)’ section.
Step 2: Enter all the details on Form 6 or Form 6A, which includes personal details, relatives details, contact details, Aadhaar details, date of birth, address, and declaration.
Step 3: Upload the required documents in the given sections and click the ‘Preview and Submit’ button.
Step 4: Click ‘Submit’.
Follow the steps given below to track the Voter ID application status online:
Step 1: Login by entering your mobile number, password, captcha code and OTP.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Track Application Status’ tab.
Step 3: Enter the reference number received while submitting Form 6 or Form 6A, select your state and click the ‘Submit’ button.
The voter registration status will be displayed on the screen.
Follow the below steps to download your voter ID card:
Step 1: Login by entering your mobile number, password, captcha code and OTP.
Step 2: Click on the ‘E-EPIC Download’ tab.
Step 3: Select the ‘EPIC No’ or ‘Form Reference no.’ option.
Step 4: Enter EPIC number or Form Reference Number, select state and click ‘Search’.
Step 5: The Voter ID details will be displayed on the screen. Click the ‘Send OTP’ button. Please note that if your mobile number is not updated, you will not receive the OTP.
Step 6: Enter OTP and click on ‘Verify’.
Step 7: Click the ‘Download e-EPIC’ button to download the Voter ID card.
To check your name in the voter list, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the ‘Search Your Name in Voter List’ page.
Step 2: Select any one of the options - ‘Search by Details’, ‘Search by EPIC’ or ‘Search by Mobile’.
Step 3: Enter the required information and click ‘Search’.
Step 4: Your details will be displayed on the screen. You can further check if your details are correct by clicking on ‘View Details’ under the ‘Action’ column.
