Below is the step-by-step guide to apply for a duplicate Voter ID card online:

Step 1: Log in or sign up on the Voters' Service Portal.

Step 2: Click 'Fill Form 8' under the Correction of Entries/Shifting of Residence section.

Step 3: Select 'Issue of Replacement EPIC Without Correction'.

Step 4: Choose the reason for replacement (Lost, Destroyed or Mutilated), enter the required details and upload the supporting documents.

Step 5: Submit the application and note the reference number for tracking.

Here is a stepwise process you need to follow with due diligence to apply for a duplicate Voter ID card offline. 

Step 1: Visit your nearest electoral office. 

Step 2: Obtain Form 8. You also also download the Form 8 PDF from the portal.

Step 3: Fill in the form with the relevant details and attach all the necessary documents. 

Step 4: Submit the form. 

The office representative will verify your documents and process your application process. After successful verification, you will get an intimation to collect your duplicate Voter ID card from the office. 

How to Download Duplicate Voter ID Card? 

Voters can complete duplicate Voter ID card download online in two ways:

I. Download Voter ID Card via Voters' Service Portal

Step 1: Visit the Voters' Service Portal.

Step 2: Navigate to the ‘E-EPIC Download’ option and click on it. 

Step 3: Select the ‘EPIC No’ option, enter the Voter ID number and select the state.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Search’ button. The Voter ID details will be displayed on the screen. 

Step 5: Click the ‘Send OTP’ button. Enter the OTP and verify it. Once verified, click the ‘Download e-EPIC’ button to download the pdf of the Voter ID card. 

II. Download Voter ID Card via Voter Helpline App

Step 1: Install the Voter Helpline app from Play Store or App Store.

Step 2: Log in using your registered mobile number and OTP.

Step 3: Tap the 'e-EPIC' option on the home screen.

Step 4: Enter your EPIC number or Form Reference Number.

Step 5: Verify using the OTP and download the e-EPIC. Download the Voter ID card to your device.
