1. How to register for HDFC Mobile Banking?
Step 1: Download the HDFC Netbanking app from Google Play Store or App Store and install it.
Step 2: Open the app to view the log in screen.
Step 3: You don’t have to register separately to access mobile banking services. You can make use of the username and IPIN you use for internet banking.
Step 4: Alternatively, you can set up quick access PIN on the app by clicking on the button visible on the home screen of the app.
Step 5: Enter your customer ID and the registered mobile number under the ‘Enter Your Details’ tab. Click ‘Continue’.
Step 6: You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP under the ‘Enter OTP’ tab within 30 seconds and click ‘Continue’.
Step 7: In the next tab, you have to enter your ATM PIN, debit card expiry month and year. Then, click ‘Continue’.
Step 8: You can set a 4-digit Quick Access PIN by entering it twice. Also, you can choose to enable fingerprint as a way to authorise yourself. Click ‘Continue’ once done.

Step 1: Open the HDFC Bank app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Enter your internet banking username and IPIN in the place of customer ID and password to access mobile banking services.
Alternatively, you can enter the 4-digit Quick Access PIN to log in.
If you have enabled the fingerprint authorisation, you can log in by placing your finger on the sensor to log in.

4. How to transfer funds on the app?
Step 1: Open the HDFC app on your smartphone.
Step 2: You will see a screen with details of all the accounts you have maintained with the bank as shown in the image below:
Step 3: Select the ‘Menu’ option on the top-left corner of the home screen.
Step 4: The following screen will be displayed along with all the possible categories of services you can access through the app.
Step 5: Under the ‘PAY’ option, select ‘Money Transfer’.
Step 6: In the following screen, select the ‘Transfer Money to Anyone, Anywhere’.
Step 7: Select the account you wish to transfer money from. Enter the payee name to select the payee bank details from the available payee list. If you wish to transfer to a new payee, you can click on ‘Add Payee’. Alternatively, you can transfer funds by entering the MMID and mobile number of the payee.
Step 8: Once you select the payee name from the list, you will be prompted to enter the amount to be transferred, the date of transfer (schedule transfer if necessary), select the transfer mode (NEFT or IMPS), add remarks, and click on ‘Continue’.
Step 9: Review the details entered and check the box stating that you accept the terms and conditions if the details are correct. Click ‘Confirm’.
Step 10: A success message will be displayed along with the transaction reference number.
