Ray Dalio is one of the world’s most significant hedge funds in the world. He is the founder of Bridgewater Associates.
Ray Dalio, the world’s largest hedge fund, talks about India and future growth as follows-
- He said that they are projecting India’s highest growth rate, around 6.5 per cent or more, in the coming next 10 years.
- He said that though the US economy is an essential economy of the world, Indian, Chinese and Asian economies are simultaneously important.
- He is very optimistic about India, as their estimates and formulas for 10-year growth are higher than others. He added that the factors they have considered are the increase in the cost per hour of an educated individual compared to the current price per hour. From indebtedness, India has low debt rates and knowledgeable people at an economical lower cost.
- In the past, India’s growth was comparatively less due to a high level of bureaucracy, rigid policies towards foreign investments, and capital markets. Ray Dalio said that they had observed positive change and openness in these aspects, hence projecting a minimum of 6.5 per cent.
