A taxpayer should file a timely response to the queries raised by the tax officials to avoid interest and penalty. A taxpayer can view all the applications filed or queries raised by the tax officials on the GST portal. Follow the below steps to view the submissions:
Step 1: Log in to the GST portal.
Step 2: Go to the Services> User Services> View My Submissions tab.
You can see all the applications and responses submitted by the taxpayer in chronological order.
Step 3: A list of all forms submitted will come in the drop-down menu under the tab ‘Form No.’. Select the relevant form number and then select the period from the submission period tab using the calendar.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Search’ button. A taxpayer can view or download any applications by clicking on the ‘View’ or ‘Download’ link.
If a tax official raises any query during the verification of the submitted application, he shall communicate the same through the GST portal within three working days. Also, the applicant shall file a reply to the query within seven days from the date of receipt of such query.
