VMC Property Tax = R x M x A

  • M refers to the product of multiple variables you require to calculate the property tax. They are:
  • M = Age Factor x Location Factor x Usage Factor x Occupancy Year
  • The age factor depends on the property’s year-wise construction duration.
  • Location factor depends on the location aspect that helps during the tax calculation process.
  • The usage factor depends on whether you are using the property for commercial or residential purposes.
  • The occupancy factor depends on whether you are using the property for rent or self-occupancy.
  • A refers to the total taxable area of your Vadodara property.

Penalties Under Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC)
