Here is a detailed step-by-step guide to follow about how to pay property tax online in Nashik:

  • Go to the official website of the Nashik Municipal Corporation. Scroll down,  and select the ‘Property Tax Department’ located on the e-services part of the home page.

  • Provide the 8-digit index number and then click on 'Submit'. If you have an index number with 7 digits, make sure to enter '0' after the third number.

  • You will be redirected to the Nashik property tax demand details page. This page will display all detailed information about the Nashik Municipal Corporation property tax.
  • Once you enter all detailed and accurate amounts, click on 'Pay Now'. Nashik property owners are also provided with an online payment rebate of Rs. 1,000 to complete the online payment of property tax in Nashik.
  • The new webpage will ask for all relevant details, including your contact number, email ID, and the amount to pay. Once done, click on the check box stating 'I do hereby agree to the Terms and Conditions'. Now to proceed with the online payment, choose 'Pay Now'. Note that you can complete payment through various other payment gateways.
  • Once you complete the payment, to access your receipt, click on 'View Receipt' located in the left-hand corner of the page.
  • For further use in the future, download the receipt and save it

How to Calculate Nashik Property Tax?

Calculating Nashik property taxes is a simple process. The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) considers a specific formula based on the Annual Rental Value (ARV) while determining the property tax amount for owners. 

Alongside this, there are several other factors to consider for calculating Nashik municipal corporation property tax. They are:

  • Area of the Property: If the built-up area is large enough, the tax amount will also be higher

  • Location of Property: If the property is located in any prime location with good infrastructure, it will have high tax rates

  1. Payment of property tax in May month would result in 5% rebate.
  2. Paying taxes in June provided the owner a 3% rebate
  • Rebate for Advance Payment
  1. If the property owner completes the full tax payment in April, the Nashik Municipal Corporation provides an 8% rebate. 
  2. Additionally, a 1% rebate is offered if a property tax payment is made online.

As per the recent reports, more than 1.5 Lakh property owners in Nashik have paid a property tax of about Rs. 50 crores in April. Thus, because of this positive response, the NMC is planning to launch other attractive discounts for paying property taxes further in one go. 

Last Date for Nashik Property Tax

All Nashik property owners must complete paying the property taxes by 30th June 2025. However, failing to pay taxes before this date will charge a penalty of 2% per month from the owners respectively.
