• If you don’t have your EPIC number or Voter ID available, you can still search using other information:
  • Your registered phone number.
  • Personal details like your date of birth, district, assembly area, and information regarding a relative.

Procedure to View Name in PDF Electoral Roll

1. Visit the website of Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal.
2. Click on the “Electors” and Now go on the “Search your in Electoral Roll”.
3. Use your EPIC number or Voter ID to search for your name in the list.

How to Apply for Voter ID Card in West Bengal Offline? 

Follow these steps to obtain your Voter ID card:

• Visit your nearest Electoral Office and request Form 6.
• Complete Form 6 with all required information.
• Attach required documents to Form 6 and submit them at the Electoral Office.
• A Booth Level Officer may visit your home to verify application details.

Eligibility to apply for Voter ID card in West Bengal

• Indian citizens who have reached the age of 18 by January 1st of the year in which the electoral roll is updated are eligible to vote. This date serves as the qualifying cutoff for determining voter eligibility. 
• Additionally, it is necessary for the individual to be a regular resident of the constituency where they intend to vote. 

How to Check Voter ID Status in West Bengal? 

• Visit the official National Voter Services’ Portal.
• Click the 'Login' button.
• Input your mobile number, password, and captcha code; then click the 'Request OTP' button.
• Enter the received OTP and click the 'Verify and Login' button.
• Select the 'Track Application Status' tab.
• Enter the reference number, select "State as West Bengal," and click the 'Submit' button.
• Your voter registration status will be displayed on the screen.
• Note: The reference ID is on the acknowledgement slip received upon submitting the voter registration application.

How to Download the West Bengal Voter ID Card Online? 

Step 1: Visit the Portal

• Go to the official National Voter Services’ Portal to start the process.

Step 2: Initiate Login

• Click on the ‘Login’ button located typically at the top right corner of the page.

Step 3: Authenticate

• Enter your login credentials followed by the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number to securely log in.

Step 4: Access e-EPIC Services

• Once logged in, click on the ‘E-EPIC Download’ tab which you can find on the homepage.

Step 5: Choose Identification Method

• Select whether you wish to proceed by entering your ‘EPIC No.’ or ‘Form Reference No.’

Step 6: Search Your Record

• Input either your EPIC number or the reference ID number. Make sure to select 'West Bengal' as the State and then click on the ‘Search’ button.

Step 7: Request OTP

• Your Voter ID details will be displayed. Click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. Please ensure that your mobile number is updated in the NVSP records. If necessary, update your mobile number by submitting ‘Form 8’ on the NVSP website.

How to Update Address in Voter ID in West Bengal Online? 

• Log in to the official National Voters Services Portal.
• Navigate to the 'Shifting of Residence/Correction of Entries in Existing Electoral Roll' section on the homepage.
• Click on 'Form 8' to be redirected to a new page; enter required details.
• Choose the option 'Self' and click 'Submit'.
• Select 'Shifting of Residence', then choose either 'Within Assembly Constituency' or 'Outside Assembly Constituency' and click 'Ok'.
• Select your 'State, District, and Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency' and click 'Next'.
• Provide your Aadhaar number, email, and mobile number, then click 'Next'.
• Input your new address and the required supporting documents.
• Upload the supporting document and click 'Next'.
• Complete the declaration, enter the captcha code, and click 'Submit'.
• The Election Commission of India will then process your request, and, upon approval, update your Voter ID card accordingly.

How to Update Address in Voter ID in West Bengal offline?

1. Go to your nearest Electoral Office.
2. Request and collect Form 8.
3. Fill in all the required information on Form 8.
4. Submit Form 8, along with proof of residence document, to the nearest Electoral Office.
5. Wait for your application to be processed and verified.
6. Once your details are confirmed, you will receive a new Voter ID card.

How to Apply for West Bengal Duplicate Voter ID Card Online/ Offline? 

Step 1: Obtain Form EPIC-002

• Visit the Election Commission of India's website to download 'Form EPIC-002', or collect a physical copy from your nearest Electoral Office.

Step 2: Fill Out the Form

• Complete 'Form EPIC-002' with all necessary details, including your name, age, relative’s name, address, and EPIC details.

Step 3: Submit the Form

• Attach required documents such as a copy of your Aadhaar card and an FIR, among others, to your completed form. Submit this form at your nearest Electoral Office.

After the processing and verification of the application, you will receive a notification to collect your duplicate Voter ID card from your local Electoral Office.
