Dhanlaxmi Bank offers DhanSmart mobile banking application to its retail customers to ease their banking experience. A variety of services and products are made available to the customers at the comfort of their houses at no extra cost. In addition to the mobile banking app, the bank also offers a BHIM UPI application that can be used to make payment at the merchant outlets without hassle.

Step 1: Install the Dhanlaxmi Bank mobile banking app from Google Play Store or Apple Store.
Step 2: Open the app to see the following screen. Click ‘Login’.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Create MPIN’ button in the login screen.
Step 4: Enter your DLB debit card details such as the card number, expiry date, CVV, PIN, and your date of birth.
Step 5: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to confirm that the legitimate user is availing the facility.
Step 6: Set up a 6-digit MPIN that must be used to log into the mobile banking app. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 7: Set up a 6-digit TPIN that is to be entered to complete any transaction on DhanSmart app. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 8: You will see a success message stating that the app is activated and ready-to-use.
Step 1: Open the app and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 2: In the login screen, enter your customer ID and MPIN. Click ‘Login’.
Step 3: Your account dashboard with different tabs and services will be displayed upon successful login.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Transfers’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: You will see a host of options related to the fund transfer transaction. You can select an option based on your preference. For illustration purposes, we are selecting ‘IMPS Using Account No. & IFSC’ under the ‘IMPS – 24×7 Instant Transfer’ accordion.
Step 4: If the payee is already added, you can select the payee name from the dropdown list. Otherwise, you have to add the payee to the account by listing out the name, account number, bank name, IFSC, and other details. You have to wait for four hours after adding a payee to start the transfer.
Step 5: Once you choose the payee, enter the amount you wish to transfer and key-in any remarks. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 6: The transactions details entered will be displayed for final review. If you think the details are correct, click ‘Confirm’.
Step 7: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP in the designated field and click ‘Complete Transfer’ button.
Step 8: A success message will be displayed after completing the transfer. A reference ID will be displayed that can be used for future reference.
Retail account holders with a mode of operation—sole owner, joint (either or survivor), and joint (anyone or survivor) are eligible to avail mobile banking services. The facility is not available for those who do not have ATM/debit card, non-individual customers, minor account holders, and for joint account holders with a mode of operation—joint and others and joint and first.
MPIN is a 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) used to log in to mobile banking application whereas TPIN is the 6-digit PIN used to authorise transactions on the application.
