IndusInd Bank is known as the Indian new-generation bank. The bank offers IndusNet, the internet banking platform to make the life of customers easier. In addition, the bank has put forth IndusMobile, the mobile banking application to give customers a tailor-made experience. The user-friendly interface brings a number of products and services at the fingertips of retail customers. Here is how you can register for the service and make fund transfers.
Step 1: Install the IndusMobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
Step 2: Open the app and enter your registered mobile number.
Step 3: Upon successful verification, a tick mark will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: You will be asked if you would like to swipe a pattern to log in instead of entering the PIN. Click ‘Register Now’ if you wish to go ahead.
Step 5: You can register for IndusMobile services using either net banking credentials or credit/debit card details. Choose the preferred option.
Method 1: Registration via Netbanking Step 6: In the following screen, enter your net banking user ID and password. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 7: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the designated space and click ‘Submit’.
Step 8: Choose the user ID of your choice and the way of authentication you would prefer to log in and transact using IndusMobile from the available options.
Step 9: You can set a profile picture for your account.
Step 10: If the current device is your primary device to access the app, click ‘Yes’.
Step 11: Select your primary account if you have multiple accounts held with the bank. Click on the dropdown menu to select and click ‘Submit’.
Step 12: On successful registration, you will see the following message.
Method 2: Registration via Debit Card Step 6: Select the ‘Credit/Debit Card’ option in Step 5 to see the following screen. Click on ‘Skip’.
Step 7: Enter your debit card details, such as card number, expiry date, CVV, card PIN, and your date of birth. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 8: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click ‘Submit’.
Step 9: Choose user ID, swipe pattern/MPIN, and set a profile picture for your account.
Step 10: Click ‘Yes’ if you wish to receive all account-related notifications on the current device.
Step 11: Select the primary account for the app if you hold multiple accounts with the bank.
Step 12: A success message will be displayed upon completing all the registration steps.
Method 3: Registration via Credit Card Details Step 6: Choose the ‘Credit/Debit Card’ option in Step 5 to see the following screen. Click ‘Skip’.
Step 7: Enter the credit card details, such as card number, expiry date, CVV, card PIN, and your date of birth. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 8: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click ‘Submit’.
Step 9: Select the user ID, profile picture, swipe pattern/MPIN, and click ‘Submit’.
Step 10: Click ‘Yes’ if you want to select the current device as your primary device.
Step 11: Select the preferred credit card from the dropdown if you hold more than one credit card from IndusInd Bank.
Step 12: Your registration process is now complete. You can log into your account and perform any available transaction.
Step 1: Open the IndusMobile app to view the following screen. Click on ‘Login To Your Account’.
Step 2: Since you have already registered on the device, you will be prompted to enter the MPIN straightaway, without asking for the user ID. Enter the MPIN and click ‘Submit’.
Step 3: The details of your accounts held with the bank and the outstanding balance of each of these accounts will be displayed upon logging in.
Step 1: On the home screen after logging in, click the brand icon at the bottom-left corner.
Step 2: Select the ‘Payment’ tab that is next to the ‘Banking’ tab.
Step 3: Click the ‘Select Beneficiary’ button.
Step 4: You can select the beneficiary from the list of beneficiaries you have already added.
Step 5: Once you select the beneficiary, enter the amount to be transferred and remarks if any. Click the ‘Pay now’ button if you wish to transfer funds instantly. Otherwise, you can schedule the payment by clicking ‘Pay later’.
Step 6: If you have multiple savings accounts with the bank, a pop-up appears for you to select the payer account.
Step 7: Choose the mode of transfer, i.e. NEFT or IMPS.
Step 8: Review the payee and transaction details. Click ‘I Confirm, Transfer Now’ if you wish to transfer now.
Step 9: You will be required to swipe the pattern or enter the MPIN to authorise the fund transfer transaction.
Step 10: Upon successful authorisation, a success message will be displayed.
Q. Can I register on more than one device? A. Yes, the bank allows you to register on more than one device. However, registering on more than five devices will automatically deregister your account from the oldest device.
Q. Is there a limit on the value of transactions I can do via IndusMobile? A. You can make transactions worth Rs.2 lakh per day on IndusMobile. Further, the limit on mobile and DTH recharges is Rs.10,000 per day per customer and the limit on Cash-on-Mobile service is Rs.5,000 per day per customer.
Q. Why am I unable to add beneficiaries on IndusMobile? A. You can only add up to two beneficiaries per day on IndusNet or IndusMobile. You can try again the following day.
Q. My credit card account is not shown on the app. What should I do? A. You have to first link your credit card with your account on IndusNet for it to appear on IndusMobile. Log in to your account on IndusNet and link the card. Otherwise, you can call the customer service desk at 18605005004 and request to link the account with the card.
