The Government of India launched the Jan Samarth portal, a one-stop digital platform linking government scheme-sponsored subsidies and loans with eligible beneficiaries. It is a national digital portal for eligible beneficiaries to avail of credit-linked government initiatives. It’s a unique digital portal comprising different government schemes providing easy access to all the related stakeholders and beneficiaries.

The primary purpose of the Jan Samarth portal is to develop various sectors and encourage inclusive growth by providing them with the right type of government benefits through easy and simple digital processes. The portal ensures end-to-end coverage of all the credit-linked government schemes. This one-stop digital portal has 13 government credit initiatives on a single platform with four loan categories.

With the help of the Jan Samarth portal, the beneficiaries and lenders can connect seamlessly. The portal’s main advantage is the quick application process through which a beneficiary can check their criteria and eligibility, upload required documents and process the business loan application quickly. Digital verifications will be made through this portal, making the lending process hassle-free and easy.
