In Andhra Pradesh, you can apply for an EC online or offline at the Sub-Registrar's Office.
Step 1: Visit the IGRS Andhra Pradesh website.
Step 2: Click Encumbrance Search (EC) under Public Online Services.
Step 3: Accept the disclaimer and click Submit.
Step 4: Register as a new user and create a Citizen Profile, if required.
Step 5: Log in using your credentials and OTP.
Step 6: Select Encumbrance Certificate under Public Online Services.
Step 7: Enter document details or property details to search.
Step 8: Pay the fee, save the reference ID, and choose an Unsigned or Digitally Signed EC.
Step 1: Visit the nearest Sub-Registrar Office or MeeSeva Centre and obtain Form 22.
Step 2: Fill in the property details and attach the required documents.
Step 3: Submit the application and pay the prescribed fee.
Step 4: Collect the acknowledgement receipt with the application or transaction number.
