SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit 2026

State Bank of India provides withdrawals between ₹15,000 to ₹2 lakh using debit cards at ATMs. As per the bank, it allows up to 5 free ATM withdrawals in a month in non-SBI ATMs and 10 free withdrawals in a month in SBI ATM's. SBI account holders have to pay additional charges if they exceed this limit.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Day for Rupay Card

For SBI Rupay cards, the daily minimum withdrawal limit is ₹100. The maximum withdrawal limit is ₹40,000 through ATM. Make sure you keep this withdrawal limit in mind while transacting from your nearest ATM.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Day for Visa Card

SBI bank allows daily withdrawals of ₹40,000, which is the maximum limit using Visa debit cards. The limit for international visa debit cards is ₹1,00,000 (maximum). However, you can change the transaction limits of your debit cards by submitting an application to the bank using the SBI Yono mobile app.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit Without OTP

For ATM cash withdrawals, SBI allows you to withdraw up to ₹10,000 without the One Time Password (OTP). This rule was implemented to make your ATM transactions more secure. If you are withdrawing more than ₹10,000, the bank will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number. After entering the correct OTP, you can withdraw your money. 

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit With OTP

SBI has added a new layer of security to prevent fraudulent transactions via ATMs. An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number. You need to enter the OTP to verify your identity if you are trying to withdraw above ₹10,000. This OTP is valid for withdrawal from ATMs till your debit card’s maximum limit.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit for Global Card

SBI Global debit card has a lot of benefits, such as cashless shopping, tap-to-pay payment options, reward points, etc. This debit card can be used internationally to withdraw money through ATMs. For domestic transactions, the minimum and maximum withdrawal limit is ₹100 and ₹40,000 respectively. For international transactions, this varies from country to country. However, the maximum limit cannot go beyond ₹40,000.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit at One-Time

The actual limit depends on the type of debit card you have. You can not withdraw above the maximum amount. The one-time withdrawal limit from ATMs varies between ₹40,000 to ₹2,00,000. 

How to Check/ Change Your SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit?

You can check or change your SBI ATM limit through different methods:

1. Through YONO App

  • Log in with your user ID and password or MPIN.
  • Go to ‘Service Request’ and click ‘ATM/Debit Card’ 
  • Enter the Internet Banking profile password and click ‘Manage Card’. 
  • Select your account and card and click ‘Manage Limits’. 
  • Check your card limit, enter ‘New Limit’ and ‘Submit’.

2. Through Internet Banking

  • Log in to your SBI Internet Banking account with your user ID and password. 
  • Go to ‘e-Services’ and click on ‘ATM Card Services’. 
  • Click on the ‘ATM Card Limit/Channel/Usage Change’ option.
  • Select ‘Account Number’ and ‘Card Number’. 
  • Click on ‘Change Daily Limit’. 
  • Check your card limit, enter ‘New Limit’ and ‘Submit’.

3. Through ATM

  • Insert your debit card into the card slot of the ATM machine. 
  • Select the language and transaction type as ‘Banking’. 
  • Select transaction type as ‘Services’ and service type as ‘Update Channel/Usage/Limit’.
  • Select ‘Limit Update’ and ‘Channel ATM’. 
  • Enter the new per transaction limit. 
  • Enter any number displayed on the ATM and press ‘Yes’. 
  • Enter the PIN and wait until transaction processing is complete. 
  • The confirmation message will be displayed at the ATM. 

4. Through Branch Visit

  • Visit the nearest SBI bank branch.
  • Ask the bank representatives to check your ATM card limit and the form to change your ATM card limit.
  • Fill out the form and submit it to the bank representatives.

5. By Calling SBI ATM Customer Care IVRS Number

  • Call the SBI ATM toll-free IVRS number - 1800 1234 or 1800 2100.
  • Select the language of your choice. 
  • Press ‘2’ to select ‘ATM card and cheque book services. 
  • Press ‘6’ to select ‘Switch on or switch off ATM card’. 
  • Press ‘2’ to ‘Set/Modify Limit’. 
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your account number and press ‘1’ to confirm the account number.
  • Enter the last 5 digits of your ATM card number and press ‘1’ to confirm the card number. 
  • Enter your year of birth in ‘YYYY’ format. 
  • Press ‘0’ for ‘ATM cash withdrawal transaction limit’ and enter the ‘New limit’.

What is YONO Cash Cardless Withdrawal?

YONO Cash is a cardless cash withdrawal feature available in the SBI YONO app. With this feature, customers can withdraw cash instantly from an SBI ATM without a physical card or withdrawal slip.  

Customers can log in to their YONO app and use the YONO Cash feature to raise a cash withdrawal request. After generating a YONO Cash request, customers can withdraw cash from any ATM in India using the 6-digit reference number and PIN set at the time of request generation.

The YONO Cash cardless ATM withdrawal limit per day is ₹20,000, with a maximum of 2 transactions per day. 

How to Withdraw Cash From SBI ATM?

You can withdraw money from SBI ATM by following these steps.

Step 1: Insert your debit card into the ATM

Step 2: Choose your preferred language

Step 3: Click on the ‘Cash Withdrawal’ option

Step 4: Select your type of account

Step 5: Enter the amount you want to withdraw

Step 6: Enter your ATM Pin

Step 7: Collect cash and take out your card from the machine

Please note, for ATM transactions above ₹10,000 you have to enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Additionally, you can check your daily withdrawal limits for seamless transactions.
