Karuvoolam IFHRMS: How to Log in and Download IFHRMS Payslip?

In a landmark decision to digitise its financial and human resource management systems, the Tamil Nadu State Government has introduced an online payment portal - the Karuvoolam IFHRMS or the Integrated Financial and Human Resource Management System. 

Employees of departments who have access to this portal can easily log in to avail their employment information and download their salary and pension payslips. Continue reading to know how. 

How can employees log in to the IFHRMS portal?

The steps to complete your IFHRMS login are as follows:

  1. Navigate to the official IFHRMS website. 
  2. Locate the ‘Login’ button on the screen’s upper left corner, just beside ‘Home’.
  3. Click on ‘Employee’.
  4. Click on ‘Sign In’. You will now be able to log in to your IFHRMS account.

How to log in to IFHRMS for pensioners?

If you are a pensioner, here are the steps you can follow to log in to your account:

  1. Visit the official IFHRMS portal and click on ‘Login’.  
  2. Once redirected, click on the ‘Pensioners’ option.
  3. Click on ‘Sign In’. 

Once you are logged in, you can access all the information related to your pension account, including IFHRMS pension slip download and more.  

How to download the IFHRMS payslip?

To complete the IFHRMS payslip download, you can do the following:

  1. Visit the official IFHRMS website and log in to your account. 
  2. A dashboard will appear. Click on the ‘Finance’ option. 
  3. Once redirected, select the ‘Payroll’ option and then ‘Results’.   
  4. Hereafter, open payroll results and enter the time period for which you wish to download your salary slip.
  5. Fill in your regular salary and locate your pay bill group. 
  6. An option to download your payslip will appear on the screen.  
  7. Click on it to download it in PDF format.

It saves a lot of time for employees as they do not have to wait in line at the accounts department in order to get their salary slips. Is the IFHRMS portal open for all TN government employees?

Only a few selected departments of the TN government have provisions for accessing the IFHRMS portal. Thus, it is only open to employees of the same. 

Can I update my employee details via IFHRMS?

To update general details like your communication address, you can do it anytime by logging in to the IFHRMS portal. However, updating vital information, for example, your bank account details, needs to be done by the IFHRMS admin. That individual is usually the Disbursing Officer of your respective department.  

Can I use my IFHRMS payslip while applying for a loan?

Yes, you can use your IFHRMS payslip as a salary reference while filing a loan application. However, you may need to get it stamped from the Accounts department as verification. 

Can I access past payslips from the IFHRMS portal?

You can gain access to payslip data for the previous 3 years via the IFHRMS portal. To do so, you just have to enter the appropriate month and the system will fetch the data for you. 

What happens if I forget my IFHRMS portal login ID?

In case you accidentally forget your login ID, you can go to the official website, click on the login button, and click on ‘Forgotten user ID’. The system will ask for your registered mobile number where you will receive an OTP for verification. After this, you will receive your user ID via a text message.
