MP Bhulekh is an online portal that maintains the land records data (both textual and map) for Madhya Pradesh (MP) state. The landowners of the state of MP can easily access their land records from their homes through the MP Bhulekh portal. 

The MP Bhulekh portal aims to give access to people to view and get the land records online and thus, save their time by not having to go to the land record offices to get information about lands. With the help of this portal, anyone can get land information easily. People can access this portal even on their mobile phones as well.

The data on the MP Bhulekh portal comprises the owner name, survey number, extent of land, tax, crops grown on the land, nature of the land and other relevant details. With the help of the MP Bhulekh portal, Khasra and Khatoni for all lands situated in Madhya Pradesh can also be downloaded.

Facilities on the MP Bhulekh Portal

  • The public can search and download the scanned and digital copies of the:
    • Land records 
    • Revenue court orders 
    • Online payment of land revenue 
    • Diversion of land-use change.
  • The revenue department officials can update the land records as per the Revenue Court Orders.
  • The banks (scheduled banks and cooperative societies) can register and remove land mortgages and hypothecation of corp records.

What is Khasra? 

Khasra is a legal revenue department document or record issued by the Tahsildar in MP that specifies land and crop details of a particular piece of land. The village map is used to assign Khasra numbers to each land area available in a specific village. The contents of the Khasra are: 

  • Owner of the land.
  • Survey number of land. 
  • Area of land.
  • Land revenue. 
  • Address details. 
  • Source of irrigation. 
  • Crop details.
  • Soil details.

What is Khatoni?

A Khatoni number is assigned to a set of land cultivators who grow crops in pieces of land with different Khasra numbers. The Khatoni gives the complete details of a group of cultivators and the areas they cultivate. A Khatoni is a legal document containing the record of all Khasras owned by a landowner/family. The Khatauni contains the following details: 

  • Name of the village.
  • Name of the district.
  • Khata number.
  • Khasra number.
  • Total area of the land.
  • Name of the owner and his father.
  • Year-wise ownership change details.

MP Bhulekh Login

The public can view the land records without logging into the MP Bhulekh portal by entering the land details. However, if landowners want to obtain/download the land records, they need to first register as a public user and then log into the portal. The process of registration and login are as follows:

  • Click on the ‘Register as Public User’ button for registering on the portal.

  • Enter General Information and Communication Information Details and click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. Enter OTP and click on the ‘Register’ button.

  • The public user registration will be done.

After the registration on the portal is done, an individual can log in by entering the Login ID, select department as ‘Public User’, enter the password, enter the captcha and click on the ‘Submit’ button on the homepage.

Process to View or Get Khasra on MP Bhulekh Portal

  • Log in to the MP Bhulekh website. 
  • Scroll down on the homepage and click on the ‘Current/Previous Years Khasra’ option.

  • On the displayed message, click on ‘Yes’ for the question ‘Do you want to search Land Records for Khasra?’ if you want to view the Khasra. If you want to receive a copy of the Khasra, click on ‘Yes’ under the question ‘Do you want to receive digitally signed Khasra copy of current and previous year?’.

  • Enter the land details and select the district, town and village. Select either the Survey Number, Plot Number or Owner option and enter the respective detail. Click on the ‘View’ or ‘Get’ button to view or download the Khasra.

Process to View or Get Khatoni on MP Bhulekh Portal

  • Log in to the MP Bhulekh website. 
  • Scroll down on the homepage and click on the ‘Current/Previous Years Khatoni’ option.

  • On the displayed message, click on ‘Yes’ for the question ‘Do you want to search Land Records for Khatoni?’ to view the Khatoni. If you want to receive a copy of the Khatoni, click on ‘Yes’ under the question ‘Do you want to receive digitally signed Khatoni copy of current and previous year?’.

  • Enter the land details and select the district, town and village. Select either the Survey Number, Plot Number or Owner option and enter the respective detail. Click on the ‘View’ or ‘Get’ button to view or download the Khatoni.

Process to View or Get Land Map on MP Bhulekh Portal

  • Log in to the MP Bhulekh website. 
  • Scroll down on the homepage and click on the ‘Land Parcel Map’ option.

  • On the displayed message, click on ‘Yes’ for the question ‘Do you want to view Village-wise parcel map?’ to view the village map. If you want to receive a certified copy of the map, click on ‘Yes’ under the question ‘Do you want to take a certified copy of the parcel map?’.

  • Select the district, town and village.

  • The map will be displayed on the screen with the details of ‘government land’, ‘private land’, ‘unlink land’, and ‘others’ highlighted on the map.

Process to View or Get Record of Rights (RoR) on MP Bhulekh Portal

  • Log in to the MP Bhulekh website. 
  • Scroll down on the homepage and click on the ‘Aabadi Survey Record of Rights’ option.

  • On the displayed message, click on ‘Yes’ for the question ‘Do you want to search Adhikar Abhilekh (RoR)?’ if you want to view the RoR. If you want to receive a copy of the RoR, click on ‘Yes’ under the question ‘Do you want to take a certified copy of the Adhikar Abhilekh (RoR)?’.

  • Select the district, town and village. Select either the Survey Number, Plot Number or Owner option and enter the respective detail. Click on the ‘View’ or ‘Get’ button.

Other Services Available on MP Bhulekh Website

Diversion intimation

When an owner has changed or intends to change the purpose of use of his land, it is mandatory to intimate it to the SDM (Sub-Divisional Magistrate) court. The owner can intimate it through the ‘Diversion Intimation’ option available on the home page and provide details of the diverted areas and diverted land use purposes.

The system will compute the first year land revenue and premium, and the owner can pay it online to the MP treasury through this option on the portal.

Agricultural land revenue payment

The owner can pay the agricultural land revenue by clicking on the ‘Agricultural Land Revenue Payment’ option on the home page and pay it into the MP treasury by logging in to the portal. The payment will be automatically updated on the Khatoni.

Diverted land revenue payment

The owner can pay the diverted land revenue into the MP treasury by clicking on the ‘Diverted Land Revenue Payment’ option on the home page after logging in to the portal. It will be automatically updated on the Khatoni.

Certified copies of land records

The landowners can view or get the certified copies of the following land records by logging in and clicking on the relevant option displayed on the home screen:

  • Settlement Record of Rights (Scan). 
  • Settlement Khasra (Scan). 
  • Five Years Khasra (Scan). 
  • Settlement Khatoni (Scan). 
  • Settlement Nistar Patrak (Scan). 
  • Renumbering List (Scan). 

After clicking the relevant option, the landowners have to click on the ‘Yes’ button to the question of either view or get a certified copy of the respective document, enter the required land details and click on the ‘View’ or ‘Get’ button to view or download the above land records.

Land mortgage

The scheduled commercial bank can get their land mortgage details updated in the land records on the portal by clicking on the ‘LandMortgage’ option on the home page.

Hypothecation

The Central cooperative bank and Agricultural Cooperative Society can get their crop hypothecation details updated in the land records through the portal by clicking on the ‘Hypothecation’ option on the home page.

Land records search

The public can search and get details of certain records and land transactions without logging in by clicking on the ‘Search’ tab on the homepage. After clicking on the ‘Search’ tab, one must click the relevant option, enter the required details and click on the ‘View’ button to view the respective land records or transactions.

The public can view the following records and land transactions on the portal under the ‘Search’ tab:

  • Bhu-Abhilekh (Khasra/Khatoni/map). 
  • Bhu-Naksha. 
  • Transaction Details. 
  • Civil Court Case. 
  • Aabadi Adhikar Abhilekh.
  • Record Room Copy.
  • RCMS Order.
