The MSME Sampark portal is a digital platform where job seekers (passed out trainees or students of 18 MSME technology centres) can find suitable jobs and apply for them. It also helps recruiters (national and multinational companies) to get the appropriate workforce. The Hon’ble President of India inaugurated the MSME Sampark portal on 27 June 2018.
The Ministry of MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) launched the MSME Sampark portal to bridge the gap between recruiters and job seekers. Through the MSME Sampark portal, the candidates/job seekers passed out from the technology centres can contact many recruiters and get their ambitious jobs after completing the course or throughout their careers.
The MSME Sampark portal aims at aiding entrepreneurs and small businesses to find and recruit a person with the relevant skill-set and experience. It also helps the job seekers to get access to various job opportunities that match their skill set with respect to the position, role, requisite experience, location, monetary expectation and industry verticals.
Recruiters have to register on the MSME Sampark portal and update their profiles to search for candidates. After registration on the portal, the recruiters can post the jobs on the portal, contact the interested candidates and proceed with the interview procedure for the candidate. They can also search candidates without registration on the portal. However, registration is required to contact the candidates.
Candidates/job seekers have to register on the MSME Sampark portal by providing their name, institute name and date of birth. The candidates who provide incorrect credentials or data feeding will not be allowed to register on the portal, and access will be denied.
After registration on the portal, the candidates can search for jobs, apply for jobs by sending their resume, view the list of recruiters who have called them for interviews and the list of recruiters who have offered the job after the interview. They can search for jobs even without registration. However, they cannot contact the employer without registration on the portal.
The steps to register on the MSME Sampark portal for a recruiter are:
STEP 1: Visit the official MSME Sampark website.
STEP 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Recruiter’ option and select the ‘Registration’ option from the dropdown list.
STEP 3: Then the ‘Recruiter Registration’ form will open.
STEP 4: Fill in the ‘Company Details’, ‘Nodal Officer Details’, ‘Security’ and click on the ‘Register’ button. The registration process will be complete.
The recruiters can log in to the portal to post jobs and find candidates. The process to search candidates on the portal is as follows:

STEP 1: Visit the official MSME Sampark website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Job Seeker’ option and select the ‘Registration’ option from the dropdown list.
Step 3: The ‘Job Seeker Registration’ form will open.
STEP 4: Fill in the details on the form and click on the ‘Register’ button. The registration process will be complete.
The candidates/job seekers can log in to search and apply for jobs. The process to search jobs on the portal is as follows:
The job seekers can get to know the status of their applied jobs by clicking on the ‘Manage Job’ button on the left side of the page.
The initiative has thus led to the placement of 30,579 candidates to date. The recruiter portfolio on the portal currently averages above 6,268, with the number of job seekers averaging above 4,75,349.
