How to Download Ration Card Online?

The ration card number, Aadhaar number, and registered mobile number are prerequisites to complete e-ration card download. Ration card download is available through three methods: 

I. State/UT PDS Portal 

Each state/UT has its individual Food and Civil Supplies Department portal. The following are the steps to download from the state/UT Portal:

Step 1: Visit the official Food & Civil Supplies or PDS website of the respective state/UT.

Step 2: Navigate to the "E-Services," "RCMS" (Ration Card Management System), or "Citizen Corner" section.

Step 3: Click on "Download e-Ration Card," "Print Ration Card," or "View/Print RC."

Step 4: Enter the 10-digit or 12-digit Ration Card Number or Aadhaar Number.

Step 5: Complete OTP authentication using the code sent to the registered mobile number.

Step 6: View the ration card on the screen and select "Download PDF" to save the e-Ration card.

II. DigiLocker

DigiLocker lists ration card among the government documents available on its platform. However, the document can be fetched only when the relevant State/UT issuing authority has made the ration card available through DigiLocker.

Step 1: Log in to DigiLocker using your registered credentials.

Step 2: Go to the documents or search section and search for Ration Card.

Step 3: Select the relevant State/UT issuing authority, if available.

Step 4: Enter the details requested by the issuing authority and provide the required consent.

Step 5: If the record is available, fetch the document and access it under Issued Documents.

III. Mera Ration 2.0 App

Step 1: Download the Mera Ration app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Step 2: Register using the mobile number linked to the ration card.

Step 3: Select the "Ration Card Details" or "Aadhaar Seeding" option.

Step 4: Enter the Ration Card Number or Aadhaar Number.

Step 5: Complete the verification process to access the digital ration card details.

Step 6: View the ration card information and save it by taking a screenshot or generating a digital pass for PDS allocations.
