Saransh

The ‘Saransh’ is a tool for analysing and comprehensive self-review for the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) affiliated schools and students. It helps them to analyse students’ performance to take the appropriate remedial measures. The ‘Saransh E-School’ Mobile Application provides for viewing results of the students and an overview of the 10 and 12 CBSE students academic performances.

The Saransh tool brings schools, parents, and teachers together to monitor students’ progress and improve their performance. It provides a data-driven decision support system for assisting teachers and parents in making the best decisions for the student’s future. 

The Saransh tool allows schools to recognise areas of improvement in teachers, students and curriculum. It helps undertake necessary measures to implement change by comparing results. It will enable the students and parents to compare their school results at the state and national levels. 

Features of the Saransh Tool

• It facilitates Problem Solving Abilities (PSA) for classes 9 and 11 students and provides achievements in the board examination of classes 10 and 12 students. 
• It shows a complete comprehensive picture regarding the latest academic session of classes 10 and 12. 
• It helps the schools to review their performance in co-scholastic and academic areas at an aggregate level and the level of each student in the school.
• It presents the performance metrics through numbers and charts/graphs for easy understanding. 
• It helps schools compare their performance with other schools under different categories, such as India, State, Regional and within their school category, i.e. private, government, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVS), and Central Tibetan Schools (CTS).

Usage of the Saransh App

The parents of CBSE students can use the Saransh E-School App through the following process:

• Saransh is available for the parents of all students studying in a CBSE affiliated school in classes 9, 10, 11 and 12.
• The parents can download the Saransh E-School App through the App Store.
• They can register on the Saransh App by providing their student’s registration/roll number.
• They will receive the username and password on the registered mobile number through OTP and email. 
• They can log into the Saransh App using the username and password sent via OTP and email and review their students’ performance.

The CBSE schools can use the Saransh E-School App through the following process:

• The school Principal can register on the Saransh App by providing the school code and CBSE affiliation number.
• The username and password will be sent to the registered mobile number through OTP and email.
• The school Principal and teachers can log into the tool using the username and password sent on the OTP and email.
