Step 1: Open the Paytm app on your phone.
Step 2: Click on the top left corner of the app to get the menu.
Step 3: Select ‘Help & Support’ and then ‘Profile Settings’. In case you are unable to find the option, move your cursor down.
Step 4: Choose ‘Chat with us’.
Step 5: Now, an automated personal assistant will take it forward. From the dropdown, select ‘I want to close/delete my account’.
Step 6: After this, select ‘Yes’. Some documents might also be required during this process.

Step 1: Ring the Paytm Payments Bank helpline at 01204456456.
Step 2: Choose the option for a lost phone.
Step 3: Select the option to enter a different number and provide your lost phone number.
Step 4: Opt to log out from all the devices where you are logged in.
Step 5: Visit the Paytm website and choose ‘24x7 Help’.
Step 6: Choose ‘Report a Fraud’ and click any category.
Step 7: Next, select any issue > ‘Message Us’ button below.
Step 8: After this, you must present the proof of account ownership, confirmation text or email for the transaction, proof of the phone getting lost and proof of phone number ownership.
Step 9: After completing this, Paytm will take the requisite steps.

The process to Deactivate a Paytm Account Via Paytm Customer Care are as follows:
Step 1: Initiate the process of deleting your Paytm account by calling Paytm customer care on 022- 45414740.
Step 2: Tell a customer care representative that you wish to delete your account, and they will create a ticket for your request.
Step 3: Wait for the confirmation email that will be sent to you once your Paytm account has been successfully deleted.

Step 1: Log into your Paytm account.
Step 2: Open the menu by tapping on the icon in the upper left corner of the screen, and several options will appear.
Step 3: Go to ‘24x7 Help’.
Step 4: If you can't find ‘Profile Settings’, click on ‘More Products and Services’.
Step 5: Select ‘I need to close/delete my account’.
Step 6: Select ‘I am not using this Paytm account’.
Step 7: Complete the process by clicking ‘Email Us’ to submit your request.
Step 8: Paytm will immediately process your request and close your account.
