The Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi announced the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana on 18th June 2024. The 17th installment amount of Rs.2,000 will be transferred directly into the bank accounts of the scheme’s beneficiaries. The beneficiaries can check their payment status on the official PM Kisan website.
However, the beneficiaries should have completed the e-KYC process to get the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. Under the scheme, the farmers are given an amount of Rs.6,000 every year, divided into three installments of Rs.2,000 each. About 9.26 crore beneficiary farmers were given the 17th installment amount.
PM Kisan rejected list
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, many applications were rejected because many farmers were ineligible. Recently the government declared 1 crore 38 lakh farmers as ineligible for the PM Kisan Yojana as their names were there in the list of taxpayers. Farmers paying taxes are not eligible for this yojana. The government has added the names of the rejected/ineligible farmers to the PM Kisan rejected list.
How to check the PM Kisan state-wise rejected list?
Farmers can search their names in the PM Kisan rejected list by following the below steps:
- Login to the PM Kisan website.
- On the home page, click on ‘Dashboard’.
- Fill the state, district, sub-district and village.
- Click on the ‘Show’ option.
- Select the ‘Rejected’ option in the Aadhaar status.
- The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi rejected list will be displayed, containing information about the rejected people and the reasons for rejection.
Reasons for PM Kisan’s rejected list
The following are the reasons for the rejection:
- Farmers belonging to the exclusion category will be rejected. To know who belongs in the exclusion category, click here.
- Farmers who fill out the wrong IFSC code while filling the application form.
- Farmers who fill the wrong bank account number.
- Farmers’ bank accounts are closed.
- Farmers’ bank accounts are not valid.
- Farmers’ age is below 18 years.
- Farmers’ Aadhaar card is not linked with the bank account.
- Farmers’ records have been rejected by the bank or Public Financial Management System (PFMS) during the application examination.

The PM Kisan registration of a farmer will be rejected when the farmer is an institutional farmer or belongs to the exclusion category as per the PM Kisan Yojana guidelines.
An applicant can check the rejected list of PM Kisan Yojana by logging into the official PM Kisan website. After logging in, the farmer must click on the ‘Dashboard’, enter the details and select the ‘Rejected’ option to view the list of rejected farmers.
First, log in to the PM Kisan official website and check if your name is on the PM Kisan rejected list. If your name is there in the rejected list, you will not receive the PM Kisan installment. You will also not receive the PM Kisan installment if you have not done your e-KYC.
