HDFC KYC Update - How To Update KYC In HDFC Bank Online?

KYC update is a crucial aspect of safe and secure banking operations. Per the RBI guidelines, every bank customer must complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to authenticate their identity. ICICI Bank has enabled both online and offline procedures to make this KYC process hassle-free.

How to Update eKYC in ICICI Bank?

eKYC or Electronic Know Your Customer is a process to update your KYC digitally. In this process, the bank will verify your identity and address through documents uploaded for KYC verification. You can update eKYC in ICICI bank through Internet banking or the iMobile Pay app. Another way to update ICICI Bank KYC is by sending your documents via email to the official e-mail address of ICICI Bank.

How to Update ICICI Bank KYC Online?

There are two ways to update ICICI Bank KYC online: 

  • iMobile Pay App 
  • Internet banking 

Update ICICI KYC using the iMobile Pay App

Step 1: Log in to the iMobile Pay app.

Step 2: When your KYC update is due, you will get a notification about the KYC update as soon as you log in to the app. Click on the ‘Document Upload’ option on the notification.

Step 3: The account number will be displayed. Select the authorisation and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 4: Your personal details will be displayed. Edit any details to be updated, upload the PAN card and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 5: Next, upload the address proof document and photograph and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 6: Check the auto-filled FATCA details, select the authorisation and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 7: Enter the profile details, tick the KYC declaration and click ‘Submit’.

Step 8: Preview the details and click ‘Continue’ to complete the procedure.

A success message will appear on the screen along with the SR number through which you can track the KYC update status.

Update ICICI KYC through Internet Banking

Step 1: Log in to the ICICI Bank net banking portal.

Step 2: As soon as you log in, the KYC update notification will appear on the screen if your KYC update is pending. Tick the authorisation and click on the ‘Update Through Document Upload’ option on the notification.

Step 3: Your personal details will be displayed. Edit any details to be updated and upload the PAN card.

Step 4: Select the ‘I want to update my address’ box if you want to update your address and enter the new address. Next, upload the address proof document (even if there is no address update) and photograph, tick the authorisation and click ‘Continue’.

Step 5: Check the auto-filled FATCA details, select the authorisation and click ‘Confirm’.

Step 6: Enter the profile details, tick the KYC declaration and click ‘Confirm’.

Step 7: Preview the details and click ‘Continue’ to complete the procedure.

A confirmation message will appear on the screen along with the SR number through which you can track the KYC update status.

How to Update ICICI Bank KYC?

Apart from online modes, as discussed above, you can update the ICICI Bank KYC in two other ways: 

  • By visiting the branch physically
  • Through a video call

Update ICICI KYC by visiting the bank branch

Step 1: Visit the ICICI Bank branch, where you hold an account along with the required KYC documents.

Step 2: Collect the KYC form from the bank and fill it out with the required details.

Step 3: After filling out the application form, attach the supporting documents and submit it.

After you have submitted all the documents and the application form, ICICI Bank will verify them. After a successful verification, the bank will confirm the KYC requirements. You will receive a confirmation message from the ICICI Bank on your registered mobile number.

Update ICICI KYC through a video call

Another KYC update process includes video calling. Under this process, you can update ICICI KYC for multiple Accounts in a short time. Log in to your ICICI bank net banking or iMobile Pay app and click the ‘Video Call’ option on the KYC due notification. A video call will be made to the ICICI bank. A bank officer will get on the video call with you. You need to show your original KYC documents on the call, and the officer will verify your documents and signature online to complete the KYC process. 

Which Documents Required For KYC In ICICI Bank?

Account holders must provide the following documents for the KYC verification process in ICICI Bank:

  • PAN card as Identity Proof. However, if you do not have a PAN card, you can submit any one of the following:
    • Passport
    • Voter ID card
    • Aadhaar card
    • Driving license
  • Address Proof (Any one of the following)
    • Passport
    • Driving licence
    • Job card by NREGA
    • Aadhaar card
    • Voter ID
  • Photograph
