How to Apply for Ration Card in HP?

Online Process

Step 1: Visit Himachal Pradesh's ePDS (Public Distribution System) website.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Ration Card’ option.

Step 4: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and log in.

Step 5: On the main page, click on the ‘Ration Card Registration’ option.

Step 7: You will receive the unique reference number. You can track your application through this number.

The application will be received by the Inspector or Panchayat Secretary, who will review the application, approve and issue a new ration card.

Step 1: Visit the Panchayat Secretary or Panchayat Sahayak in case of rural areas and the Food and Supplies Officer or Inspector, FCS&CA in case of urban areas.

Step 2: Request the office officials for a ration card application form. You can also download and take a printout of the application form in English and Hindi from the HP Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs website.

Step 3: Fill out the relevant details in the field and attach the required documents.
