Registration Fees: 60,00,000 x 1% = Rs. 60,000

You must pay stamp duty charges and registration fees for all types of property transactions in West Bengal. The West Bengal government does not provide any stamp duty exemptions to women, nor do non-profit organisations or any other land purchased for social purposes get a rebate on these charges.
Only land purchased by government departments is exempt from stamp duty and registration fees. However, gift deeds among immediate family members get a concession on stamp duty rates, 0.5% of the market value.
The stamp duty in West Bengal ranges from 4% to 7% of the market value of a property with a registration charge of 1%. The West Bengal Government does not provide any rebate in stamp duty rates for women or any charitable, financial or social causes.
