There are three ways you can track passport application status offline:

• You will receive a quick update on your application status. 
• This is a fast and convenient way to track your passport status through mobile. 
• Use this service for immediate updates.

Track Passport Status via the National Call Centre 

• To monitor passport status, you can call a citizen service representative at the national call centre on the toll-free number 1800-258-1800 between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and mention your passport application file number. 
• The contact numbers for the national call centre differ for Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and the Northeastern states: for J&K, dial 040-66720567, and for the Northeast, dial 040-66720581. You can also use of the Interactive Voice Response (IVRS) facility after office hours.

Track Passport Application Status at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) 

• You can also visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and share your application file number to check the status of your passport application. 
• You can also receive updates on your passport status by reaching out to them via email.

Check Application Status Via Speed Post

To track the dispatch status of your passport through Indian Speed Post, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official Passport Seva portal.

Step 2: Log in to your account and navigate to the 'Check Passport Status' section.

Process to Track Passport Dispatch and Delivery Status  

Passports are generally delivered to your registered address via Speed Post. You can use the Speed Post tracking tool to track its delivery status. Here is how you can check the dispatch and delivery status of your passport:

Step 2: Retrieve your 13-digit tracking ID.

Step 3: Go to ‘Track Consignment’.
