Issuing Process
You can request a demand draft online via Axis Bank's internet banking facility. Alternatively, you can visit any Axis Bank branch and fill out a DD form to issue a new demand draft. The required funds and Axis Bank DD charges will be deducted from your savings or current account. If you have a registered email, you will receive an update once the request is processed.
Validity
All demand drafts have a validity of up to 3 months from the date of their issue. Each demand draft request can take 2-3 business days to process from the DD form's submission date.
Cancellation
You can cancel a demand draft from Axis Bank if the bank has not cleared and paid the due amount to the beneficiary. However, you have to pay the required DD cancellation charges to Axis Bank. You have to submit the original demand draft along with a cancellation request letter to the bank.
