The Government of Telangana introduced the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, which will provide annual financial aid to landless farmers in the state. This initiative, along with the Rythu Bharosa scheme, will enhance the financial welfare of farmers and provide food security. This scheme will commence on 26 January 2025.

What is Telangana Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa?

The Telangana Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme supports landless farmers by providing Rs.12,000 annually for agricultural investment, such as fertilisers, purchasing seeds and other farming essentials. 

The Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa programme will also tackle the critical shortage of PDS (Public Distribution System) ration cards in the state. The government will issue new ration cards to families without one to ensure better food security.

Under the Telangana Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, the beneficiaries will receive Rs. 12,000 annually in two equal installments of Rs. 6,000 each. They will receive one installment during the Kharif season and another during the Rabi season.

  • Landless farmers, landless farm labourers and MGNREGA workers who have completed at least 20 days of work in a year
  • Permanent residents of Telangana
  • Individuals not owning any cultivable land
  • Individuals should have a savings bank account linked with Aadhaar to receive benefits via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer)
  • Lands unsuitable for cultivation, such as those used for industrial purposes, mining, or real estate, are excluded

Currently, the official Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme application form has not been released. Once the government launches the official scheme website, applicants can download the form from the website. They can also collect the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme application form from the Gram Sabha or Panchayat office.

Revenue officials will collect data in each village under this scheme to identify eligible beneficiaries.
