The Telangana Government has started distributing new Telangana ration cards to eligible beneficiaries, especially to newly married couples and their families. With the distribution of new ration cards in Telangana, over 2 lakh new beneficiaries were included under the Public Distribution System (PDS).
The existing ration cardholders have to complete their e-KYC for ration card Telangana by visiting their nearest ration shops by 30 June 2025 to continue receiving ration benefits. The Telangana Government is also providing ration for three months, i.e. June, July and August 2025 at once in June so that beneficiaries need not travel to collect ration during monsoon months.
