My Cards is a platform provided by HDFC Bank for products like credit cards, debit cards, consumer durable loans, debit cards, etc. To block your debit card via My Cards:
Step 1: Open HDFC MyCards App from your mobile device and enter your mobile number and OTP.
Step 2: Register your card using the last four digits of the debit card and DOB.
Step 3: On the Debit card homepage, go to the ‘Block Card Tab’, select the reason for hotlisting and complete the next steps. After that, you will receive a confirmation message once it is blocked successfully.
EVA is a chatbot which is available on the right-hand side of HDFC Bank’s official website. You can use it to block your HDFC debit card by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on EVA.
Step 2: Select ‘Debit Card Services’ and click ‘Hotlist your Debit Card’ option and ‘Proceed’.
Step 3: Enter registered mobile number and OTP.
Step 4: Enter Date of Birth, last four digits of your debit card and select the reason for card blocking.
Step 5: Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to block your debit card.
You can block your debit card via the WhatsApp number of HDFC Bank through these steps:
Step 1: Type ‘Hi’ on 70700 22222 and complete the one-time registration.
Step 2: Enter the last 4 digits of your customer ID and submit the OTP.
Step 3: In the next step, select debit card-related services from the options (Under Other Services, select Debit Card services).
Step 4: Select ‘Block my Debit Card’ and share the reason.
Step 5: Check and confirm the card details before blocking. You will get a confirmation after successful blocking.
HDFC mobile banking platform can be used to block your debit card. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Sign in on the HDFC Bank app and click on ‘Menu’ from the left-hand corner.
Step 2: Go to ‘Pay’ and click on ‘Cards’.
Step 3: Select the debit card you want to hotlist, select the reason and click ‘Confirm’.
After that, a confirmation will be sent to you.
HDFC Bank customers can easily block debit cards using their net banking portal. To block your card, you have to register your account at the HDFC net banking portal (if not already registered). After that follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your net banking profile.
Step 2: Go to ‘Card’, click ‘Debit Card’ and then on ‘Requests’.
Step 3: After that, you will see the option of ‘Debit Card Hot Listing’.
Step 4: Select your debit card from the list of cards linked to your bank account.
Step 5: Select the reason for the hot listing and then click on ‘Confirm’.
Your debit card hotlisting request will be processed by HDFC Bank and you will receive a confirmation SMS.
