A domicile certificate is a legal document that establishes a person’s residential status in a particular state. Domicile certificate Madhya Pradesh (MP) is used to prove that a person is a resident of the State of MP.
The MP domicile certificate proves that an individual is a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh state. The domicile certificate in MP is required to get the benefits of several MP government schemes. The village administrative officer, circle officer or revenue inspector issues the domicile certificate in MP.
Eligible applicants can apply for an MP domicile certificate offline or online.
Step 1: Visit the nearest Jan Seva Kendra, Common Services Centers (CSC) or MP Online Kiosk. Applicants can search for the nearest Jan Seva Kendra, CSC or MP Online Kiosk on the MP Lokseva Guarantee Portal by clicking the ‘Search’ button.
Step 2: Get the domicile certificate application form and fill out the application.
Step 3: Submit the domicile certificate application along with the required documents and fees to the Jan Seva Kendra, CSC or MP Online Kiosk official person.
An acknowledgement slip with the ‘Registration number’ will be generated upon application submission. Applicants should note the registration number for future reference.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the MP e-District Portal.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Citizen Registration’ button.
Step 3: Enter the required details and click the ‘Click here to verify your mobile no & email ID.’ button.
Step 4: OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, and a link will be sent to the email ID. Enter the OTP and click on the link sent to the email to complete the verification process. The account will be registered.
Step 5: Click the ‘Login’ button, enter password, email ID or mobile number, and captcha code to log in.
Step 6: Click the ‘Domicile Certificate’ option from the services available on the portal.
Step 7: Fill out the application form, upload relevant documents, pay fees and submit the application.
Upon successful application submission, an acknowledgement will be generated along with the registration number, which helps track the application status.
Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate is valid for a lifetime.
The MP revenue department will issue the domicile certificate within seven working days.
