The State Bank of India has launched hassle-free digital banking facilities for quick and convenient operations for various functions. The SBI balance check facility allows you to get the latest update about your account balance promptly without visiting the bank branch.

Different Methods Of SBI Balance Enquiry in 2024

If you are an SBI bank account holder and want to know how to check your SBI balance instantly, you can do so through the following methods:

Check SBI Account Balance Through Missed Call Facility

Missed call is one of the most convenient ways to check your SBI bank balance. With this new feature, you can get your account balance, mini statement and so on by just giving a missed call. Here is the step-by-step guide:

Step 1: To use this service, first, you must register your mobile number by sending the following SMS 

                                                REG<space>Account Number 

                                                              to 09223488888

For instance, REG 2349084781. Then, you will receive a confirmation message after a successful registration. 

Step 2: After registration, you can give a missed call from your registered mobile number to  

                                                                 09223766666

Step 3: You will receive an SMS displaying your account’s balance on your phone. 

You can use this missed call facility from your registered mobile number to 09223866666 to request your mini statement.

Check SBI Account Balance Through SMS Services

This is another way to inquire about your account balance. For SBI account balance enquiry by SMS, you need to follow these simple steps:

Step 1: You need to register yourself to avail of this SMS service by sending the following SMS 

                                                REG<space>Account Number 

                                                              to 9223488888

Step 2: The bank will send a registration confirmation message. Thereafter, you can check the account balance, raise a chequebook request, get a mini statement, etc. 

Step 3: For an SBI balance enquiry check, send the following SMS from your registered mobile number:

                                                 ‘BAL’ to 09223766666  

Alternatively, you can send an SMS for a mini statement by typing ‘MSTMT’ to 09223866666

Check SBI Account Balance Through ATM

You can get the SBI bank account balance through an ATM by following the following steps:

Step 1: Insert your SBI ATM/ Debit Card into the machine.

Step 2: Enter your 4-digit ATM PIN.

Step 3: Select the 'Balance Enquiry' option.

Step 4: Your account balance will be displayed.

Check SBI Account Balance Through Net Banking

You can conveniently check your bank balance via net banking. To avail this service, you need to register for this facility. After registration, you will be able to access your account. Here is the step-by-step guide to doing it:

Step 1: Visit SBI Net Banking Portal by entering your user ID and password.

Step 2: After successful login, click on the ‘My Accounts & Profile’ tab. 

Step 3: Select ‘Account Summary’ and click on ‘Click Here for Balance’ for the account you want to view the balance.

Step 4: The account balance will be displayed on the screen. 

Check SBI Account Balance Through Mobile Banking

You need to register on the SBI mobile banking app to check your account balance. Here are the apps through which you can view your account balance.

SBI YONO 

Register and log in to the SBI YONO app using MPIN. Click on 'Accounts', and your balance will be displayed on the screen.

Yono Lite SBI 

Register and log in to the Yono Lite SBI app by entering your net banking credentials. Once you log in, click on the 'View Balance' option. Your balance will be displayed on the screen.

BHIM SBI Pay

Register and log in to the BHIM SBI pay app by entering the PIN. Once you log in, click on the 'View Balance' option. Your balance will be displayed on the screen. 

Check SBI Account Balance Through WhatsApp Banking

You can check your SBI account balance by sending message on WhatsApp in the following way:

Step 1: Send 'Hi' to SBI's WhatsApp number - 9022690226

Step 2: Click on the 'Get Balance' option.

Step 3: Your account balance will be sent to you on WhatsApp.

Check SBI Account Balance Through Passbook

SBI will give you a passbook when you open a bank account with them. You can update your passbook by visiting the bank or through an ATM. You can view your account's current balance on your passbook. It will also have a record of all your debit and credit activities. 

Check SBI Account Balance Through Toll-Free Number

You can check your SBI account balance by calling any of the below SBI toll free numbers:

Check SBI Account Balance Through UPI

You can also check your SBI account balance via UPI by following the steps below:

Step 1: Open your UPI-enabled mobile banking app.

Step 2: Select the 'View Balance' or 'Balance Check' option from the main menu.

Step 3: Select the bank account you want to check your balance.

Step 4: Enter your UPI PIN. 

Step 5: The app will display your account balance. 

Check SBI Account Balance Through USSD

You can check your SBI account balance using USSD by following the below steps:

Step 1: Dail *595# and enter the User ID.

Step 2: Select 'Option 1' from the 'Answer' menu.

Step 3: Select ‘Mini statement' or 'Balance inquiry' option.

Step 4: Enter the MPIN and send ‘Enter’.

Step 5: The bank account balance will be displayed on screen.
