  • You should have an FD account of Rs. 25,000 or more.

The eligibility of salaried employees is as follows:

  • Age must be between 18 years to 65 years.
  • Your minimum CIBIL score must be at least 750 or more.
  • You should have a stable source of income with a minimum annual income of Rs. 2 lakh.

What Is the Process of Applying for an SBI Credit Card?

Step 6: If your profile matches all the required criteria, you will get a call from the bank, and an executive will verify your details before issuing and dispatching your card.

Once your card is dispatched, it will reach your selected address within 7 working days.

Offline Apply

You can visit the nearest branch to apply for SBI credit cards offline. If you have an account with them, you may get your credit card faster. Consult with any bank representative to select the best credit card for you. Take the credit card application form from the bank and fill it out. Then, submit it with the required documents. I could not find my town or city name in the city dropdown menu in the online form. How can I apply?

For the online application, SBI serves only 23 locations in India. If you are not able to find your location, you have to contact the SBI Card helpline at 39 02 02 02 (include your STD code as a prefix) or visit the nearest SBI bank branch.

I started filling out my SBI card online application form but could not complete it and hence I saved it. How do I retrieve this form?

Visit sbicard.com and click on ‘Retrieve Application’ under the ‘Track your Application’ option. After entering your first name and mobile number click on the retrieve button. Submit the OTP, and you will be able to resume your credit card application from where you left it.

I started filling out the form for SBI Platinum Card and then saved it. I now want to apply for an SBI Signature Card instead. What should I do?

To change your selected card, visit sbicard.com and fill out the ‘Retrieve application’ form by entering your first name. Then, complete the OTP verification process. On the next page, you will get the ‘Change Card’ option. Click it and select the credit card you want to apply for.

I do not have any other credit card. Can I still apply for an SBI Card?

Yes. You can apply even when you don’t have other credit cards. Just provide the correct details on the application form, and SBI will also check your credit score. After successful verification, they will give you the final decision on your application.

To apply for a new card, select ‘Yes’ in the ‘Do you have an SBI Card’ section during the new application. After the submission, an executive will contact you to complete the next steps.

I had applied for an SBI Card online and was told my credit limit. Do I need to do anything else, or will the card be sent to me?

Once your online application is approved, an executive will reach out to you within 2 working days to share the document list. After that, an appointment will be scheduled to collect the required documents. After the submission, it can take a maximum of 21 working days to approve the application. You will get final approval after the document verification step.

Why was my SBI credit card application rejected?
