Update DOB in Aadhaar Card

Step 1: Visit your nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Center.

Step 2: Fill out the Aadhaar Update Form/ Aadhaar correction Form, i.e. https://uidai.gov.in/images/Form_1_Eng.pdf

Step 3: Submit the form with the proof of Date of Birth.

Step 4: To authenticate your identity, you must provide your biometrics.

Step 5: You will receive a receipt containing the URN (Update Request Number). The Status of your Aadhaar update request can be tracked online by using the URN.  

Step 6: Pay the executive a fee of Rs.50.

Step 7: Within 90 days, your DOB will be updated on Aadhaar card.

How to update the date of birth in Aadhaar Online?

Previously, the process to update the date of birth on an Aadhaar card could be done both online through the myAadhaar website and offline through registered enrolment centres. However, now, only the address on the Aadhaar card can be updated online and the rest the updates on the Aadhaar card are offline.
