Step 1: Login/Sign-Up on the NVSP portal.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Fill Form 8’ option under the ‘Correction of Entries’ section.
Step 3: Select ‘Self’. Your EPIC number will be displayed on the screen. Click ‘Submit’.
Step 4: Your Voter details will be displayed. Click ‘OK’. Next, select the ‘Application for Shifting of Residence’ option, select ‘Within Assembly Constituency’ or ‘Outside Assembly Constituency’ and click ‘OK’.
Step 5: Fill out Form 8 with all the required details. Select the state, district and assembly or parliamentary constituency. Next, enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number and email. Next, enter your new address.
Step 6: Upload the address proof document. Enter the declaration and captcha code and click ‘Preview and Submit’.
Step 7: Preview the filled Form 8 and click ‘Submit’.
Once you submit Form 8, you will receive a message on your registered mobile number or email ID with the reference number of your application.
Note: You can collect the new Voter ID within 2-4 weeks from the respective electoral office or download the new digital Voter ID from the NVSP portal. A new voter ID will be dispatched to the registered address after verification and approval.
