  • Visit the SBI Card Online web page and log in to your account with the credentials. 
  • Click the ‘My Account’ option and select ‘Manage PIN’.
  • Choose the credit card you want to change the PIN for and click ‘Generate OTP’ option.

Via Mobile Application

  • Open the SBI mobile application and log in to your account.
  • Click the ‘Service Requests’ option on the left side of the screen.
  • Select the ‘Manage PIN’ option and choose the card you want to generate the PIN.
  • Click the ‘Generate OTP’ option and enter the OTP received on your phone number.
  • Enter the new PIN and click ‘Submit’ button to generate the PIN successfully.

Via Chatbot ILA

SBI permits you to generate the credit card PIN via SBI's chatbot. To do this, you must follow this process:

  • Visit the SBI Card website and click on the ‘Ask ILA’ at the bottom right side of the screen. 
  • Click the ‘Login’ option and select the ‘Login’ option once again. 
  • Enter your credentials and ask, ‘How do I generate a transaction PIN for my credit card?’
  • Select the ‘Update PIN’ option and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button and enter the new PIN twice.
  • Click the ‘Update PIN’ option to complete the SBI credit card PIN generation process. 

How to Generate SBI Credit Card PIN Offline?

Besides online mode, you can use the offline mode to generate a PIN for your SBI credit card. You can either use the IVR service or send an SMS to the bank to generate a PIN for your credit card. Here is a step-by-step guide on both these methods.

Via IVR Service

You can opt for an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service for generating your SBI credit card PIN. Follow this simple prcess to know more:

  • Call the SBI credit card PIN generate phone number at 1860 180 1290/ (STD) – 39020202, and select the language of your preference.
  • Select option 6 to generate a PIN, and enter your 16-digit credit card number, card expiry date and date of birth. 
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered phone number.
  • Enter a new PIN for the card and re-enter it to confirm. 
  • Lastly, you will hear a confirmation message on the IVR for successful PIN generation.  

Via SMS

SBI also allows you to generate the credit card PIN by sending an SMS to the bank. Here is a detailed process for SBI credit card PIN generation through SMS:

  • Send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 567676.
  • Follow the format of the message: CCPIN XXXX, where XXXX stands for the last four digits of your credit card.
  • You must also mention your account number and PIN for successful credit card PIN generation. 

How to Change Your SBI Credit Card PIN?

SBI credit card holders can change their PIN using online and offline modes. In addition, customers must frequently change their PIN to ensure safety and security. Here are the various ways through which you can change your SBI credit card PIN:
