Checking SBI Credit Card Status through Airway Bill Number

Individuals will get a notification mentioning the Airway bill number of their credit card shipment after SBI approves their credit card application and dispatches the credit card. Using this number, you can track your credit card status by following these easy steps:

Step 1: Go to the Track Consignment page of India Post.

Step 2: Enter the Airway bill number and captcha code and click 'Search'.

Step 3: The details of your card status will be displayed.

SBI Credit Card Application Status Results

Now that you know how to check SBI credit status online and offline, take a look at the application status results. Here is the different SBI credit card status results:

• In-Progress 

If your SBI credit card application is still under the review process from the bank's end, it will display the status as "In progress".

• Approved 

If your application is approved and the bank is about to dispatch your card soon, you will view the status as “Approved”.

• Dispatched

Once the bank approves your credit card application, it will dispatch the card to your address. In such cases, SBI credit card tracking status will appear as “Dispatched”. The bank will send an SMS with the ETA and tracking details to your registered mobile number.

• On-Hold 

If your application remains incomplete or you fail the document verification part, your card application will be on hold. In such cases, you can seek assistance from the bank representatives by calling the customer care number.

• Disapproved 

The SBI bank may reject your credit card application if you do not meet its credit score, income, age, and employment criteria. In such cases, the credit card status will show “Disapproved”. If your application is rejected, you may apply for a fresh credit card after 6 months.
