Step 4: After your registration, you shall receive your login name and password online. Now, visit the home page of JharSewa again and click on ‘Login’. A pop-up screen will appear for you to enter your email ID, password, and Captcha code. After entering them, click to sign in.

Step 5: Click on ‘Apply for Services’ and then ‘View Services’. 

Step 6: Click on ‘Issue of Local Residential Certificate’. An online application form will appear on your screen. Enter the required information and the Captcha code and click ‘Submit’.  

Step 7: You will receive an Application Reference Number. Now, click on ‘Attach Annexure’ and upload the supporting documents. Then, click on ‘Save Annexure’.

Step 8: Next, click on ‘Make Payment’ and enter your receipt number and date to continue with the payment. 

On successful payment, you will receive the acknowledgement slip. You can print it or export the same as a PDF document.

How to get domicile certificate offline in Jharkhand?

You can apply for a domicile certificate in Jharkhand through Tehsildar or CSC. Let's take a look at the steps to apply for a domicile certificate in Jharkhand via both of these offices.

Step 1: Visit the online portal of JharSewa and click on ‘Login’. Enter the necessary credentials to log in to your account.

Step 2: Click on ‘View Application Status’ from the options.

Step 3: Click on the link of your online application. Its status will pop up on your screen. You can view this certificate by clicking on your application number. 

Step 4: As the certificate appears on your screen, click on the download option to export it and save the document on your device.
